Suspected ritualists beheads a 37yrs old Man inside Winners chapel church in Bayelsa

Suspected ritualists beheaded a 37-year-old man, Anthony Egbo, inside the Living Faith Church, also known as Winners Chapel, in Elebele, Ogbia Local Government Area, Bayelsa State, on Wednesday.

Anthony Egbo, the victim, worked as a security guard for the church.

According to NNewsblog, the Assistant Pastor of the Church discovered the victim's mutilated corpse, "the head was severed from the body while the throat was missing."

Comrade Famous Egbo, Youth President of the Elebele Community, confirmed to NNewsblog that the victim's body was discovered around 5.50 a.m.

"He was beheaded when people saw him. His throat was gone. "People suspected it was a ritual killing."

Asinim Butswat, a Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the killing but maintained that the report from the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) in Kolo community stated that "the attack was at the head region and his throat was slit."

Meanwhile, an unidentified Vandal was electrocuted to death near Yenagoa's Osiri district.

According to NNewsblog, the roasted corpse of the Vandal was discovered hanging on an electric pole early Wednesday morning after electrocution.

Pereko Stanley, a local, said the Vandal had cut one of the armoured cables but was unlucky on the second trip when the power went out and he was electrocuted.
