Wizkid,Grammy award-winning Nigerian artiste has become the first African musician to perform as the headlining act at the prestigious Glastonbury, the largest music festival in the UK. This is a great achievement for the African music industry and Nigerian specifically.
The festival took place on Friday in Somerset, England, United Kingdom as there was a total of 210,000 people in attendance for the Glastonbury music festival.
The “Other Side Stage” of the event hosted Wizkid, whose performance was breath-taking. Wizkid sang most of his biggest hit songs “Essence,” “One Dance,” “Ojuelegba,” “Soco,” and “True Love," as he mesmerize them with an awesome performance.
This historical feat can't be forgotten in a jiffy.
