‘Enough is enough’ – NEF blows hot over killing Northerners in Igboland

The Northern Elders Forum, NEF, has warned against killing Northerners in the Southeast.

Hakeem Baba-Ahmed, the forum's spokesman, asserted that it was risky to target and kill Northerners in the Southeast.

He emphasized how such a move might deteriorate community relations in other regions of Nigeria.

The NEF spokesman tweeted that politicians seeking votes ought to publicly denounce such behavior.

He emphasized the need to stop discriminating against Northerners.

"Targeting and killing of Northerners, especially in the South-East, should be condemned and must stop," wrote Baba-Ahmed.

“It is very dangerous because it could worsen community relations in other parts of the country.

“We need to hear clear and emphatic condemnations from those who want our votes.”
